Chinese seek protection for nationals; Nepal govt. silent

Kathmandu, 20 March: Chinese embassy has sought protection for its nationals in Nepal at a meeting with Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan, Nepal Samacharpatra reports.
According to a senior diplomatic source, Nepal is in a difficult diplomatic situation and hasn’t issued any official comment on developments in Tibet either for or against.
CPN (Maoist) and CPN-UML have supported China demanding action protesting Tibetan refugees in Nepal.
