Kathmandu, 12 May: Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood Sunday proposed Girij Prasad Koirala be declared president at a meeting with Chairman Prachanda, ,Maoist mouthpiece Janadisha reports.
A Maoist should be prime minister and CPN-UML candidate should be CA speaker, according to Sood’s suggestions, the newspaper reported.
India has proposed a government of national unity following inconclusive assembly elections.
