By Bhola B Rana

Kathmandu, 15 Aug: A meeting of the 594-member CA began Friday afternoon to elect a prime minister.
There’ll be a direct contest between Maoist Chairman Prachanda and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba of Nepali Congress
TMLP, the fifth largest partying CA, will note for Chairman Prachanda without joining the government.
Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party is boycotting the vote.
Prachanda is certain to be elected prime minister to replace Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala installed in April 2006 through street protests and foreign interference and conspiracy mainly involving India, USA and Great Britain.
CPN-UML and Forum that allied with Nepali Congress to elect Dr Ram Baran Yadav dumped Koirala and the Congress joined to elect Prachanda.
Koirala is exiting government unceremoniously after his presidential bid was thwarted by Maoists.
He failed also to built an anti-Maoist alliance with support of what was called democratic forces following consultations in New Delhi and Colombo with Congress (I) chairperson Sonia Gandhi his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh.
Communists dumped Koirala after they gained a republic.
The in-coming government has agreed to run security agencies through consensus.
Voting first will be held on Deuba’s nomination which was registered first Thursday.
CPN (Maoist), CPN-UML and Forum couldn’t agree on sharing of ministerial portfolios in two rounds of meetings Friday.
Discussions will continue.
There was no agreement Friday on appointing a deputy prime minister.
The differences won’t affect the vote.
