Prachanda elected prime minister (Breaking News)

Kathmandu, 15 Aug: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda” was elected Friday prime minister by an overwhelming members of the 601-member CA collecting 464 votes.
The Maoist chairman defeated his only rival Sher Bahadur Deuba of Nepali Congress who collected only 113 votes.
An official biography released by CPN (Maoist) said Prachanda, an agriculture graduate from Rampur campus, Chitwan, worked with US/AID for an unspecified period from 2032.
CPN (Maoist) has adopted a rabid anti-American stance.
Prachada’s election was formally announced by CA Chairman Subash Nemwang.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh immediately congratulated Prachanda.
Outgoing Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala was dumped by communists who have established a majority government with his help assisted by India, USA and Great Britain.
Koirala vacates Baluwatar Saturday.
