Nepali Congress spokesman Arjun Narsingh KC said his party has decided to stay in the opposition by boycotting a Maoist-led government.
The party will take a formal decision Wednesday, he said.
CPN-UML standing committee Tuesday decided to go for an alternative Wednesday only if four parties don’t agree to form their government Wednesday.
