Kimathanka on Nepal-Tibet border opened

Kathmandu, 27 Sept: Kimathanka- on the Nepal-Tibet border along Sankhhuwasabha, was opened Saturday by Chinese authorities after a three-month closure, Radio Nepal said.
The border was sealed inconveniencing during the Beijing Olympics.

CA session adjourned

Kathmandu, 27 Sept: Nepali Congress assembly members forded the adjournment of the CA session for the second consecutive day until Sunday.
The CA met to discuss appropriations bill.
The members demanded written presentation of finance minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai’s commitments while presenting the annual budget last week.
Congress assembly members said they will disrupt proceedings until their demand is met.
Home Minister Bamdeb Gautam, responding to an order of Chairman SubashNemwang, said nobody is permitted inside the CA with weapons.

Tourists asked to plant threes

Kathmandu, 27 Sept: Visiting tourists have been asked either to plan a tree or sponsor one.
The announcement was made on the eve of World Tourism Day being celebrated Saturday with the slogan: Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change.

Kathmandu, 27Sept: Germany is providing 50,300 euros for Nepal’s flood victims through Nepal Red Cross Society.
The German embassy announced the contribution.
