Wild elephants kill three members of family

Kathmandu, 26 Sept: Wild elephants trampled on and killed three members of a family , , , including a mother and daughter, at a village in Sarlahi overnight, Radio Nepal said.
Seven wild elephants entered the village and destroyed seven hutments.

A ruling party constituent against integration of PLA, Nepal Army; other details

Kathmandu, 26 Sept: A top leader of MJF, a member of the ruling coalition, has said his party opposes the integration of the PLA and Nepal Army even as Maoists said the two armies will be integrated within six months.
The MJF is also the fourth largest partying the CA.
‘If indoctrinated fighters are integrated into Nepal Army (NA), it will lose its identity inviting disaster,” Sharad Singh Bhandari warned Thursday.
Army Spokesman Brig Gen Ranindra Chetri said NA was not aware of integration between the forces, according to Rajdhani.
“We don’t know anything about it [integration]; no official word has also been received,” Rajdhani quoted Chetri as saying.
