349 political cases being withdrawn

Kathmandu, 27 Oct: Cabinet Monday night decided to withdraw 349 cases leveled against persons during the movement in the tara.
Government Spokesman Krishna Bahadur Mahara described the charges as mainly political following the cabinet meeting.
Home and law ministry will identify the cases and will culminate in the release of nearly as many prisoners.
There was no decision on the formation of committees for integration of armies and coordination of government activities to be taken again by the cabinet Tuesday morning.
