By Bhola B Rana

Kathmandu, 5 Dec: Amid threats of the Madesh Janaadhikar Forum (MJF) to quit the four-month government, a top leader in the party demanded implementation of regional demands
‘This situation is nothing new. This is a coalition government which has to implement a common
minimum programme (CMP).

Bhandari demanded the implementation of the CMP.
Forum control four vital ministries and is the third largest party in government.
MJF withdrawal from government will trigger a crisis in the Maoist-led government with its downfall at a time when the main opposition Nepali Congress has launched jihad against Maoists charged for attempting to impose dictatorial rule.
Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala Thursday renewed a call for a broad national front and asked RPP and asked Rashtriya Janasakti Party (RSJ) to join the anti-communist grouping.
RPP Chairman Pashupati SJB Rana and RJP Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa, in turn, asked Koirala to lead the front.
Koirala is pushing a front even though communists have a majority in the 601-member constituent assembly.
Nepali Congress is also attempting to entice the CPN-UML out of government.
