Search continues for missing on Kosi river

Kathmandu, 5 Jan: Security personnel on a cold Monday continued search for nearly one dozen persons, mostly women and children, missing on Kosi river after a overloaded boat capsized Sunday.
Six persons died and 18 swam to safety.

Mulayam Singh continues discussions

Kathmandu, 5 Jan: Leader of India’s Socialist Party Mulayam Singh
and General Secretary Amar Singh held political discussions with Prime Minister Prachanda Monday.
They will hold discussions with Nepali Congress leaders before returning home later Monday
They arrived Sunday on invitation of President Dr Ram BaranYadav.

Jogbani-New Delhi rail link

Kathmandu, 5 Jan: Jogbani is being linked with New Delhi by a weekly rail link.
Indian Railway Minister Lalu Yadav will inaugurate the service.
A train will leave Jogbani every week Friday and return Wednesday.
