More details of supreme court brigadier decision

Kathmandu, 24 March: A one-man bench of supreme court justice Kalayan Shrestha asked government to report in 15 days reasons for not extending the tenure of the brigadiers.
Although they were superannuated they were still eligible for service through age.

The file went missing after Prime Minister Prachanda asked for it from three government secretaries.
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and the prime minister discussed the issue Tuesday.

PM Prachanda, president discuss possible government expansion, reshuffle

Kathmandu, 24 March: PM Prachanda and President Dr Ram Baran Yadav Tuesday discussed possible cabinet reshuffle and expansion Tuesday.
The president called on the president for a regular meeting.
Prachanda said earlier he expected Nepali Congress to join a Maoist-led government.
Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala has been expressing confusing signals on joining government after his return from India last week after discussing Nepal affairs with Indian leaders,
Koirala has said Congress is ready to join a national government if Maoists implement past understanding and agreements.
The pre-conditions for the CA elections on 10 April were abandoned for the vote; the conditions have been resurrected.

“”.. former king and our leaders who have gone to India in search for a political Viagra, should be afraid of senior and extremely powerful leaders Dahal, Khanal and Yadav [Upendra] and Katawal. Because, these four persons can be defenders and destroyers of republican Nepal.”
