Forum on verge of split

Kathmandu, 30 May: Chairman Subash Nemwang said Saturday a Maoist censure motion against President Dr Ram Baran Yadav’s request to ask Army Chief Gen Rukmangud Katwal to continue after dismissal by Maoist government of PM Prachanda can’t be discussed in parliament.
There was no agreement in parliament’s business affairs committee meeting Saturday.
Maoist said they will oppose the move.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress decided Saturday to join the Madhav Kumar Nepal government.
But the party is yet to decide on the government team.
MJF divided on verge of split with one faction led by Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar for joining the Nepal government while a faction led by Chairman Upendra Yadav is opposed joining he Nepal government.
The party central committee is still deciding the issue.

Three killed in accident

Kathmandu,30 May: Three persons were killed Saturday at Jogimara, Dhading, in a collision between a car, truck and motorcycle.
Nineteen others were injured.
A motorcycle was heading for the capital from Pokhara while the car and truck were speeding to Pokhara from the capital.
