Govt, draws UNMIN’s attention
Kathmandu, 4 Nov: Government has decided to draw the attention of UNMIN for what it calls the violation by Maoists of a comprehensive peace agreement (CPA).
Government decided to draw the attention after a meeting Tuesday of ministers and top officials to review the ongoing Maoist anti-government protests.
Government spokesman and Communication Minister Shanker Pokhrel said Maoist declaration of autonomous regions, blockade of the Valley and seizure of Dhankuta municipality were against the spirit of the CPA.
“The government urges UNMIN to pay attention to these activities,” Pokhrel said.

Dutch tourist killed
Kathmandu, 4 Nov: A Dutch tourist was killed in a rafting accident on Kaligandariver Tuesday.
Sabinbe Carapli, 32, died when a boat capsized.

Matrika Yadav admitted to hospital
Kathmandu, 4 Nov: Matrika Yadav, coordinator of CPN (Maoist), has been admitted to a hospital after he fainted at his home, Sunday night Annapurna Post reports.
Yadav was admitted to Norvic Hospital.
