Parliament begins budget discussion

Kathmandu, 23 Nov: Maoists didn’t obstruct parliament proceedings as announced when parliament began discussions on the annual budget 2009/10 Monday.
Maoists said they won’t disrupt proceedings for three days to pass the budget.
Twenty-two ruling coalition partners asked lawmakers to be present all three days to approve the budget.
Maoists said they will boycott discussions.
