NC general convention from 27 Jesth
Kathmandu, 7 March: The 12th general convention of ruling Nepali Congress will be held in the capital from 27 Jesth, central committee member Khum Bahadur Khadka said.
The partycentral committee took the decision Sunday.
The rescheduled meetining is being held after a three-month delay.
Diggerences on activemembershhip.
The central committee is meeting again Tuesday.

Special committee meeting inconclusive
Katmandu, 7 March: A special committee of army integration headed By Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal was inconclusive Sunday.
There was no agreement when the committee will meet to integrate 19,000 plus Maoist combatants in security agencies or integrate them in society.
Ruling parties have said a constitution can’t be promulgated by 28 May without rehabilitation and reintegration..
“There were a lot of sparks but no fire,” said NC member DrRam Sharan Mahat.
‘The government is just trying to create controversies,” charged Maoist Commandant Barsha Man Pun Ananta.
He said 19,0000 combatants haven’t been paid monthly allowances and perks for three months.
He said this as government demanded a fresh recount of 19,000 plus combatants in UN administered camps to distribute doles to right persons.
