Prachanda holds discussions with Yechuri

Kathmandu, 2 March: CPI (Marxist) politburo member Sitaram Yechuri Monday held discussions with Chairman Prachanda.
He told reporters after the meeting attention should now be centered around drafting a constitution.
He’s meeting Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal for the second time in two days Monday.

NA suggestions for PLA integration

Kathmandu, 2 March: Nepal Army (NA) has recommended to the government a re-count of PLA combatants and the disbandment of paramilitary wing YCL before integration and rehabilitation, Annapurna Post reports.
The suggestion by given by Army Chief Gen Chatra Man Singh Gurung at a special meeting Monday at the prime minister’s office.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Defence Minister Bidya Bhandari, Home Minister Bhim Rawal, Finance Minister Surendra Pandey and Peace Minister Rakam Chemjung were present at the meeting.
The suggestion was presented by Maj Gen Gaurab Shumshere who presented views of integration, rehabilitation, improvement in security situation and national security policy.

Proposal to integrate 3,000 combatants

Kathmandu, 2 March: Government is preparing to integrate 3,000 PLA combatants in security agencies, Kantipur reports.
This was agreed Monday at a meeting Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal held with concerned ministers, members of the united monitoring
and technical committees and chiefs of three security agencies.
According to Home Minister Bhim Rawal, the basis is an
agreement between then Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Chairman Prachanda.

Subash Nemwang suggests shortcut to constitution drafting

Kathmandu, 2 March: Constituent assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Nemwang has suggested a shortcut solution to promulgate a constitution in time, Kantipur reports.
The constitution should be short addressing key issues while the drafting
process also should be shortened.
The short constitution is a Belgian model.

Share trading for first time outside Kathmandu

Kathmandu, 2 March: For the first time, shares were traded Monday from outside the capital.
Nepal Stock House of Pokhara traded 140 shares through four transactions of three companies worth Rs 193,360.
Nepal Stock Exchange is expanding out of the capital.
Transactions was diversified through remote Work Station (RWS).
