Details of PM Nepal, Manmohan Sngh talks

Kathmandu, 29 April: Prime Minister Mdhav Kumar Nepal and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh Thursday held discussions in Thimpu on the sidelines of the 16 SAAC summit.
Singh asked Nepal to move ahead with Maoists and ‘showed special interest’ in the mass mobilization of youth by Maoists Saturday, the government chief’s advisor Rajan Bhatarai said.
Singh said India wanted the peace process completed and a constitution promulgated.
In reply, Nepal told Singh government and ruling parties were continuing their efforts for the peace process and constitution but problems had cropped up.
The summit ends Thursday.
PM Nepal returns home Friday.

Ruling parties united behind govt.


Kathmandu, 29 April: Twenty-two ruling united behind the beleaguered government of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal concluding Maoists have decided to capture start power through the streets.
The support came after a two-and-a-half hour meeting called by Nepali Congress.
The parties decided to work with the government to meet the Maoist challenge.

Maoists disrupt plus two exams

Kathmandu, 29 April: Maoists Thursday disrupted plus2 examinations conducted by the Higher Secondary School Board.
Maoists entered schools to disrupt examinations and made public questions papers of English before examinations were scheduled to begin.
