Prachanda, Sood meet
Kathmandu, 14 April” Hour-long discussions were held between Chairman Prachanda and Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood Wednesday.
They discussed the delayed peace process and constitution drafting besides the party’s India policy, a party source said.
The meeting comes one day after Sood’s concern with Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal at the cancellation of a contract to an Indian company to print machine readable passports.
Maoists withdrew their one-day nation-wide strike this week protesting the passport deal forcing the government to cancel the contract.

Three killed, 10 injured in another bus plunge
Kathmandu, 14 April: here passengers were killed and 10 were injured when a bus plunged into Trisuli river in Chitwan Wednesday morning.
The bus was heading for the capital from Birgunj.
Such bus accidents have become daily occurrences.

Maoist politburo meet rescheduled
Kathmandu, 14 April: Wednesday’s scheduled meeting of the Maoist politburo was postponed for Thursday.
The meeting was rescheduled citing busy schedule of leaders.
The meeting was to discuss details of anti-government protests andplans to topple Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
