Agreement by cheque to extend CA term could bounce
Kathmandu, 29 May: An agreement between three major parties Saturday to extend the constituent assembly (CA) term by one year was settled though a cheque which could bounce, Maoist Vice-Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai told a public meeting in the capital Saturday.
‘The agreement was like a bank transaction through a cheque which could bounce without a deposit in the bank.
“Should that happen, we’ll collect both principal and interest,” he told the meet which releasing a party draft of a proposed constitution with 274 articles.

National T20 cricket tournament from Monday
Kathmandu, 29 May: The national T20 cricket tournament scheduled to begin will start Sunday following amicable talks with officials of Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) and national players who stayed from the tournament scheduled to begin Saturday.
The announcement was made by former captain Binod Das.
National players Friday charged CAN and officials for neglecting the game, players and the game’s development.
