Second round of three party summit inconclusive (DEVELOPING STORY)
Kathmandu, 26 May: The second round of three party talks to break a prolonged political deadlock Wednesday evening was inconclusive as well.
Maoist Vice-chairman Narayan Kazi Shresthsa said the country has reached critical turning point.
NC Spokesman Arjun Narsingh KC said parties will meet Thursday to break the deadlock or one day before the two-year tenure of the CA ends.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal asked Chairman Prachanda at a meeting brokered by a UML activist to held break the impasse.
Amid international concerns, Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood and PM Nepal held discussions while US Ambassador Scott H, Delisi and UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal also held discussions of the deadlock.
