Landslides kill at least 12 in Kaski, Syangjha (DEVELOPING S TORY)
Kathmandu, 11 July: Landslides triggered by the first burst of the monsoon have killed at least 12 persons in the western hill districts of Kaski and Syangjha, officials said.
Ten bodies have been recovered from two settlements in Kaski where several others are missing.
Several persons escaped the mudslide that swept the villages.
Casualties could increase as reports come in from villages cut off by the slides.
A mother and son were killed in Syangjha as the landslip buried them at night.

Four killed, 33 injured in bus accident
Kathmandu, 11 July: Four persons were killed Sunday and l33 were injured, 12 seriously, as a bus slipped off a road in Dhangadi.
The bus was traveling to Dhangadi from Bhajang.
The injured are undergoing treatment at TIM Hospital.
