Nobody has filed nominations

Kathmandu, 20 July: Nobody filed nomination papers for the election of prime minister Wednesday with less than three hours remaining for the deadline to end at five in the afternoon.
Nepali Congress parliamentary party is meeting while Maoist politburo and UML central committee meetings are also being held.

Lifelong facilities for former presidents, vice-presidents premiers

Kathmandu, 20 July: Former presidents, vice-presidents and prime ministers will get security for life, Kantipur reports.
The facility has been included in a directive prepared by the government.
VIPs were enjoying such facilities illegally.
The directive was passed by the government several days before the resignation of the prime minister.
