All officially confirmed dead in plane crash
Kathmandu, 24 Aug.: The department of Civil Aviation confirmed all 14 passengers and crew were confirmed dead Tuesday morning in an air crash in central Nepal at eight in the morning.
Four American women, a British and a Japanese also were killed.
The German-built Dronier was co-piloted by a woman.
Capt. Laxman (Lucky) Prakash Bikram Shah reported engine generator failure and navigation equipment problem in a conversation with the airport tower in the capital.
He is the son of former experienced pilot Raja Prakash Shah of Jaajarkot.
The plane crashed on a field near a school close to Hetauda.
Government formed a five member investigation headed by Krishna Prasad Upadhaya and asked it to submit a report in 65 days.
