CABINET MEET IN BALUWATAR

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: The cabinet began meeting in Baluwatar Monday morning to discuss a proposed present a complete budget.
The budget has been delayed for four months amid Maoist obstruction.
Maoists argue a caretaker government can’t bring a full budget.

ONE DEAD, THREE SERIOUSLY INJURED

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: One person died and three passengers were seriously injured Monday morning when two buses collided in Nawalparasi.
One bus was attempting to overtake another bus when the buses collided.

CHINESE, BANGLADESHSI ABND US MILITARY OFFICIALS TRAINING AT PANCHKHAL

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: Unspecified number of military officials from China, Bangladesh and USA are participating in a regional-level United Nations observer training programme at Panchkhal-based Nepal Army (NA) training center from Sunday, Public Relations Department of NA said.
The programme enhances skills of participants as military observers on deputation to various UN missions.

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: Public holiday announced on Wednesday to mark Bakkar Eid.

BUDGET ON FRIDAY

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: Finance ministry wrote to Speaker Subash Nemwang
Sunday asking for time to present the budget Friday, Nagarik reports.
‘Technical work has been completed to present the 19 November, Bodhraj Niraula, Chief of the Budget Division, told Nagarik.
All parties in the ruling coalition asked Prime Minister Madhv Kumar Nepal to present the budget Friday.

FORMER KING LEAVING FOR INDIA MONDAY

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: Former King Gyanendra accompanied by former Queen Komal are leaving for India by regular flight of Jet Air Monday, Jana Bhawana reports.
They are attending the wedding of the son of Maharaja of Jodhpur.
The visit is private and personal.
They’re spending two nights in Mumbai and will fly for Jaipur 18 November.
They will be away for 21 days, Tarun reports.
They’ll be in New Delhi from 22 to 29 November.
It’s learnt an environment has been created for meetings with Cong.(I) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
