MORE DETAILS ON BIG THREE MEET

Kathmandu, 6 Nov. The Big Three- Maoists, NC and UML—Saturday agreed to meet again Wednesday to attempt an end to the prolonged impasse.
Fifteen leaders of the three parties, after two days of talks only agreed on a broad six-point work schedule that will be taken up Wednesday.
The 15 leaders were huddled in two-day inconclusive talks at Hattiban Resort in Chovar south of the capital.
’Differences have been narrowed down. Time was inadequate,’ UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said.
“The budget has to come within Kartik [16November]. That’s why the meeting is being held Wednesday,” Home Minister Bhim Rawal, who attended the summit as member of UML negotiating teamm said,

RUKUM DEATH TOLL RISES TO SEVEN

Kathmandu, 6 Nov.: The death toll in the Rukum jeep accident rose to seven with deaths of three more passengers while being rushed to a district health facility for treatment Saturday.
Eleven passengers were injured.
One person died in another jeep accident in Pabat Saturday.
A father and son on a bicycle died when a tractor hit them on the Birgunj, Pathalaiya corridor Saturday.

AUSPICIOUS TIME FOR TIKA AT 11.31 IN MORNING SUNDAY

Kathmandu, 6 Nov.: The auspicious time for bhai tika Sunday is at 11.31 in the morning.
The time was calculated by Nepal Panchayan Nirnayak Samiti.
The long festive season will end with bhai tika Sunday.
