ON INJURED IN THAMEL SHOOTING

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: One person was injured in a shooting incident at Tridebi Marg in Thamel in front of the SAARC headquarters Wednesday.
The shooting site is at the Thamel entrance from the city center and Keshar Mahal adjacent to Narayanhiti Palace and American embassy ground.
The injured person is undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.

OVERHEAD BRIDGE AT NAYA BANESHWOR

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Wednesday laid the foundation of a Rs 65 million overhead bridge at Naya Baneshwor.
China is helping construct several such bridges to tease traffic congestion.

US AMBASSADOR, SURYA BAHADUR THAPA MEET

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: US Ambassador Scott H. DeLisi Wednesday held discussions with Rashtriya Jaanashakti Party Chariman Surya Bahadur Thapa.
DeLisi has been intensifying discussions with political party leaders urging conclusion of the peace process, drafting of constitution and completion of the integration and resettlement of Maoist combatants before UMIN pullout 15 January2011.
DeLisi held discussions with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and Speaker Subash Nemwang Tuesday.
The ambassador in scheduled to holdldiscussions with Prime MInister Madhav Kuman Nepal Wednesday.

FORMER KING, QUEEN FLYING FOR INDIA

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: Former King Gyanendra and Former QueenKomal fly for India 15November to attend a marriage of a relative at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
They are proceeding there via Mumbai .
