NC WILL NOMINATE PM CANDIDATE ONLY WEDNESDAY (DEVELOPING STORY)

Kathmandu, 1 Feb. Amid challenge from Sher Bahadur Deuba to the candidacy of Ram Chandra Paudel for prime minister, the party will decide its official candidate for the post only hours before candidates register their nominations in parliament Wednesday afternoon.
Maoist standing committee decided to offer Chairman Prachanda unanimously for as the party’s candidate Tuesday.
UML also will field Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.
The party took an unanimous decision on a proposal submitted by KP Sharma Oli who was previously supported a NC candidate.

AMBASSADOR TO SAUDI ARABIA RECALLED

Kathmandu, 1 Feb,: The cabinet Tuesday decided to recall Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Hamid Ansari.
He was accused of siphoning off thousands of rupees compensation paid to workers in the Saudi Arabia.
He’s a political appointee of the UML and not a career diplomat..
