NEPAL SETS OMAN A 392 RUN CHASE OF (UPDATE)

Kathmandu, 2 Feb.: Nepal set Oman a target of 392 runs Wednesday in Group B ACC Elite Cup in Bangkok.
Nepal scored 391 runs for the loss of four wickets batting first after winning the loss.
The score was the highest by three-time champion Nepal in ACC U-19 Elite Cup.
Fazul Khan scored 101 runs.

SECRETARIAT TO CURB ILLEGAL TRADE IN OF MECHANISM TO

Kathmandu, 2 Feb.: A secretariat of a South Asian body to curb poaching of endangered species illegal trade will be established in Kathmandu.
Regional wildlife experts took the decision at a meeting in Paro, Bhutan, at a just concluded meeting.

IOC HIKES PRICES OF POL PRODUCTS EXPORTS TO NEPAL

Kathmandu, 2 Feb.: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) will incur a loss of Rs. 968.3 million this month after according to a the new rate given by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the sole supplier of petroleum products to NOC, The Himalayan Times reports.
IOC has set a new price-list for the petroleum products that will come into effect from today [Tuesday].
As the new price-list come into effect without a fore-warning, a revision in domestic fuel prices may no be far.
