‘Kathmandu, 5 Feb.: Batting first, Nepal scored 246 runs in 50 overs for the loss of nine wickets against Thailand in the fourth last Group B match of the ACC U-19 Elite Cup Saturday in Bangkok.

As one of the top four teams in Nepal has qualified for the U-19 Asia Cup to join test playing nations in India.
Saturday’s match result won’t affect Nepal’s entry into the semi-final.

AIRBUS TO REFUND LOCK-UP MONEY

Kathmandu, 5 Feb.: Airbus has decided to return lockup money paid by Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) for the purchase of two aircraft, Republica reports.
“We received a letter signed by Senior Vice-president of Airbus Christophe Mourey recently,” said a highly placed source at NAC on condition of anonymity.
Airbus has asked AC to furnish its bank account number.
(Note: Senior NAC executives have been charged for financial irregularities in releasing the money,)
