Kathmandu, 16 April: Maoist office bearers Saturday called a meeting of the politburo to select remaining members of its government Thursday/Friday.
The party said the meeting is being convened as lower bodies couldn’t select remaining members of the government team.

THREE MADESH PARTIES PRESENT 12-POINT MEMORANDUM TO GOVT.

Kathmandu, 16 April: Madesh Forum of MJFL, TMLP and NSP presented a 12-point memorandum to government Saturday saying a constitution shouldn’t be promulgated i27 May until the peace process is completed.
The Front presented terai-related demands to Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal.
NC President Sushil Koirala said he opposed the extension of the consituent assembly tenure if the second deadline isn’t met 27 May.
