FIVE-YEAR-OLD BOY ABDUCED FROM BANKE FREED IN INDIA
Kathmandu, 23 April: Five-year–old Sushanta Adhikari abducted by unknown people was freed Saturday in a joint operation of Nepali and Indian police from Nanpara, Baharaich, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Adhikari was abducted from home three days ago.
Other details weren’t immediately available.

FIRE IN SUSARI SETTLEMENT CAUSES Rs.10.5 MILLION DAMAGE
Kathmandu, 23 April: A fire at Basantapur in Sunsari—the second in three years, destroyed 72 houses causing Rs. 105 million damage.
One hundred houses in the mainly Muslim settlement destroyed 100 houses three years ago.
No human casualties were reported.

DETAILS OF COMPROMISE AGREEMET BETWEEN SUSHIL KOIRALA, SHER BAHADUR DEUBA
Kathmandu, 23 April: NC President Sushil Koirala and rival three time Prime Minster Sher Bahadur Deuba agreed Friday to take the party forward though mutual consultations.
“The row was resolved following an understanding between the two leaders. Both have agreed to form a four-member team to resolve the disputed issues in the party,” Bimalendra Nidhi, a close Deuba said.
‘Now on, as per the agreement, if Deuba and Koirala work together to take other important the party is all set to move-hand-in hand.”
Rivalry between the to pleaders of the main opposition had stalled nomination of office bearers particularly for seven months.
They agreed on six issues, Annapurna Post reports.
The two leaders agreed to appoint office bearers unanimously.
They agreed Deuba will lead a government if an opportunity comes for the party to form a government.
