14 DEAD IN ANOTHER SECOND BUS ACCIDENT IN 24 HOURS

AT LEAST 14 DEAD IN ACCHAM BUS ACCIDENT (BREAKING NEWS)

Kathmandu, 4 May: Fourteen persons died and 21 were injured when a bus fell 300 meters off a road at Accham Wednesday at 2.45 in the morning—a second major bus accident in two days.
The bus was heading for Sanfebagar in Accham from Dhangadi, Kailali, in the far-West.
One person has been identified so far.
At least 50 passengers were traveling in the bus.
The seriously injured have been sent to Doti hospital for treatment.
Twelve persons died and 14 were injured when a bus fell off a road Sindhuli Tuesday; the bus was heading for Banepa from Sindhuli.
More passengers are feared dead
Search and rescue teams from the army and police are trying to pluck the bus from a steep cliff.
Eight policemen were injured in a police van accident in Dhanusha Tuesday.
With the coming monsoon, incidents of vehicular accidents will rise.
Deadly vehicular accidents are daily occurrences.

GOVT. OFFICIAL SHOT IN MALANGWA

Kathmandu, 4 May: Madhav Karmacharya, an official of Malanguwa municipality was shot and injured by Akhil Terai Mukti Morcha which claimed responsibility over telephone Tuesday night.
He’ received head injuries.
Karmacharya was shot at nine at night while returning home, police said,
Four year –old Sifa Aktar Ansari was found dead Tuesday at a brick kiln at Pheta-8 VDC in Bara.
He had gone missing for three days—probably abducted,

11 POLICEMEN KILLED IN NAXALITE LANDMINE BLAST

Kathmandu, 4 May: Eleven policemen and paramilitary personnel were killed and 25 were seriously injured Tuesday in the Indian state of Jharkhand in east India in a landmine explosion, radio and television reports said,
The landmine was laid by Naxalites or Maoists.
The communist insurgency is the most serious internal security problem of India, according to officials.
