BODY OF SHAILENDRA KUMAR UPADHAYA BROUGHT DOWN TO EVEREST BASE CAMP

Kathmandu, 10 May: The body of former Foreign Minister Shailendra Kumar Upadhaya, 82, was brought down to the base camp of Mount Everest from the first camp of the 8848 meters high world’s highest peak.
Upadhaya died Monday while attempting to be the oldest person to set foot on top the world this spring.
His body is being flown back to the capital Wednesday.

TIBET TRADE FAIR FROM 2 TO 6 NOVEMBER

Kathmandu, 10 May: A Tibet trade fair will be held in the capital from 2 to 6 November this year.
This was agreed at a two-day Nepal-trade trade talks that concluded in the capital Tuesday.
