COURRUPTION CHARGES FILED AGAINST TWO LAWMAAKERS FOR MISUSE OF DIPLOMTIC PASSPORTS
PM KHANAL RETURNS THURSDAY CUTTING SHORT TURKEY VISIT
Kathmandu, 11 May: Prim E Minister Jhalanath Khanal has cut short his visit to Turkey and will return home Thursday, an aide said.
He’s returning via the Gulf at eight in the morning.
Khanal earlier was scheduled to return 15 May.
Khanal cut short his visit because of the political situation at home.

FORMER KING ASKS ALL TO MOVE CAUTIOUSLY
Kathmandu 11 May: Former King Gyanendra said Wednesday ‘people want peace and stability’ as he attended a mahayagya at Bankali.
He called for a constitution desired by the people.
The last king didn’t respond to questions to reporters ono the future of monarchy.
He said the country is passing ‘though a difficult phase’ and called on all ’to move cautiously’.
Supporters chanted pro-monarchy slogans at the Pashupati area.

CASES FILED AGAINST TWO LAWMAKERS
Kathmandu, 11 May: CIAA Wednesday filed cases at the special court against lawmakers B.P, Yadav and Gyatri Sah under anti-corruption act for misuse of their diplomatic passports.
The anti-grant body has sought recovery of Rs 16.1 million and a 15-year jail sentence.
Cases has been filed against five immigration officials at the immigration office at Tribhuivan International Airport and two others for aiding the lawmakers.
