DEATH TOLL IN BUS ACCIDENT INCREASES TO 12

SINDHULI BUS ACCIDENT TOLL INCREASES TO 12 UPDATE

Kathmandu, 3 May: Twelve persons are confirmed died and 14 were injured in Sindhuli’s bus accident Tuesday.
One passenger died while being rushed to Dhulikhel for treatment.
Seven of the 14 injured are in serious condition.
Bodies of seven males and six females have been recovered from the accident site.
A child is among the dead.
More bodies are trapped in the bus.

SUSHIL KOIRALA, US AMBASSADOR MEET

Kathmandu, 3 May: Main opposition NC President Sushil Koirala held discussions Tuesday with US Ambassador Scott H. DeLisi.
They discussed the delayed peace process, constitution drafting and integration of 19,000 plus former Maoists in state security agencies, sources close to Koirala said.
But meeting also comes after Osama bin Laden was killed in a US operation in Pakistan.
NC welcomed the operation result.
DeLisi briefed Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari on the operation Monday; government formed by the country’s two biggest parties hailed the operation saying the death of bin Laden was a major gain in the fight against international terrorism.
