.LEAVEAVE OF ALL POLICE CANCELLED UNTIL28 MAY
Kathmandu, 16 May: Leave of all policemen has been cancelled as precautionary measure until 28 May when a constitution has to be promulgated.
A basic law won’t be enforced that day and government has registered a motion in parliament to amend the interim constitution for the ninth time to extend the tenure for one year.

FOUR ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY LEAKING QUESTION PAPERS
Kathmandu, 16 May: Four persons have been arrested by Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police for allegedly leaking question papers during the just concluded Class 12 higher secondary education board examinations.
Those arrested are Rudra Adhikari, coordinator of Gillette College, Narendra Subedi, teacher at Bright Land English Higher Secondary School, Santosh Kuikel and Binod Basnet.

GLOBAL BANK RECORDS RS 157.7 MILLION NET PROFIT
Kathmandu, 16 May: Global Bank recorded a Rs.157 7 million net profit in Q3 of the current fiscal year ending 13 April.
The bank recorded Rs.68.9 million net profit in the corresponding previous year quarter.
