MINISTER OF STATE RESIGNS

Kathmandu, 27May:Agriculture State Minister Nandan Datta has been sacked, an official announcement said Friday.
The move was expected
Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal accepted Dutta’s resignation.
Datta had threatened resignation saying he wasn’t assigned an important ministerial portfolio.
He hails from MJFN which split this week; the party is the only Madeshbadi group supporting the communist majority government of Maoists and UML.
