NEPAL ARMY TO BE DEPLOYED IN KARNALI

Kathmandu, 15 June; Nepali Army will be deployed in Karnali in the far-West to protest the giant Upper Karnali hydro power plant and other projects being developed by an Indian company.
It’s office was vandalized last month by Maoists in the region causing millions of rupees in damage.
The cabinet decided to deploy army in the region Wednesday.
