BIG THREE PARTY LEADERS FLY OUT STEATIHLY AMID PROTESTS

NC PARLIAMENTARY PARTY ENDORSES 5-POINT PACT

Kathmandu, 3 June: Main opposition parliamentary party meet Friday endorsed Sunday’s controversial five-point agreement with ruling communist parties UCPN (Moist) and UML.
The parliamentary party decided NC should take the lead in asking other parties to implement the agreement fully in ‘letter and spirit’.
Parliamentary party leader and party Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel chaired the meet.
The meeting concluded all parties should help to implement the agreement
also deciding the party should take the lead in lobbying support for the deal.

UML NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES COUNCIL MEETS 16 AUGUST

Kathmandu, 3 June: UML central committee meeting Friday convened a meeting of its Rastriya Prathinidi Parishad [national representatives’ council] for the first time in more than three years for three days from 16 August.
The central committee meet was adjourned until 30 June after concluding a four-day session
The standing committee meeting is being held Tuesday

LEADERS OF BIG THREE PARTIES FLY FOR BANGLADESH
Kathmandu, 3 June; Amid protests from youth of the Big Three-- UCPN (Maoist), UML and NC—leaders of the parties flew for Bangladesh Friday to attend a conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
They dodged protestors at the airport while and boarded a flight as the country is still in political crisis.
Former Prime Minister and UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, NC leader Sujata Koirala and Hishila Yami ,wife of Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai flew for Dhaka.
