LAST LANDMINE LAID BY NEPAL ARMY BEING CLEARED TUESDAY

Kathmandu, 14 June: The last landmine laid by Nepal Army during the 10-year Maoist is being cleared Tuesday in the presence of Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal at Phulchoki.
Phulchoki is the tallest hill overlooking the Valley in the south.
The army placed 257 landmines at 53 locations to protest facilities and barracks.
