TOP NC DELEGATION MEETS PM KHANAL TO PRESS IMPLEMENTATION OF FIVE-POINT AGREEMENT

Kathmandu, 30 July: A top delegation of main opposition NC met Jhalanath Khanal as pressure tactics Saturday and asked him to implement a tripartite five-point agreement between ruling parties Maoists, UML and NC
President Sushil Koirala headed the delegation with accompanied by Ram Chadra Paudel and Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The agreement pushes formation of a national government and completion of peace process along with promulgation a constitution in the remaining one month.
Khanal assured government won’t be reshuffled to obstruct the formation of a national government.
The premier is under pressure from coalition partner Maoists to swear-in a new Maoist team in government by Saturday afternoon or bear consequences for any delay.
