ONE KILLED IN ABANDONED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE EXPLOSION IN ACCHAM

Kathmandu, 15 July: A male boy was killed at a village Friday in Accham in the far-West Friday.
Another was injured.
The device was abandoned during the 10-year Maoist insurgency.
Their numbers aren’t known.
But Nepal has been declared mine free after the last mines laid by Nepal Army was cleared defused this year at Phulchoki Danda southwest of the capital to protest facilities and barracks from Maoist assaults and attacks.
