NC PRESIDENT SUSHIL KOIRALA DEMANDS PM’S RESIGNATION
Kathmandu 15 July: Main opposition NC President Sushil Koirala Friday demanded resignation of Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal immediately after his return home from New Delhi where he held political discussions with Prime Minister Manmohan Adhikari
He also also consulted powerful Chairperson of the ruling alliance Sonia Gandhi and chief of the Indian National Congress leading the coalition.
Koirala said he has no secret agreement with senior three-time Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to appointment him as leader of the party to replace Ram Chandra Paudel.
The NC chief said he has held discussions with Deuba after the claim.

LT. GEN. NEPAL BHUSAN CHAND OFFICIALLY PROMOTED

Kathmandu, 15 July: Lt. Gen. Nepal Bhusan Chand was officially confirmed as the third ranking office in Nepal Army (NA) after Army Chief Gen.Chatraman Singh Gurung who pinned an insignia on him Friday.
Lt. Gen Gaurab Shusmshere KB Rana is the other Lt.Gen
He’s in line to succeed Gen. Gurung as army chief.
