PARTIES ASK PRESIDENT TO EXTEND DEADLINE BY THREE DAYS UPDATE

Kathmandu, 21 Aug.: The Bug Three and a front of five Madeshbadi parties Sunday afternoon asked President Dr.Ram Baran Yadav to extend a deadline to assemble a consensus government by another three days.
Parties in parliament falied to assemble such a government even in one week.
The President is expected to comply.

BUS KNOCKS DOWN THREE PEDESTRIANS TO DEATH, FIVE INJURED

Kathmandu, 21 Aug. A bus in Lamjung knocked down three pedestrians to death—two omen and a child—and injured five others Sunday.
The bus was heading for Manang district headquarters from Sera bazzar in Lamjung.
