FEASIBILITY STUDY OF DIRECT CARGO RAILWAY SERVICE BETWEEN NEPAL,BANGLADESH STARTS

Kathmandu, 1 Sept.: A feasibility study of a cargo railway between Nepal and Bangladesh though India has started, Kantipur reports.
Officials of Nepal, India and Bangladesh held discussions at SAARC headquarters in Kathmadu.
‘There’s been an agreement to study the feasibility of a cargo railway service from Birgung via Rohanpur, Singhabad in India to Dhaka,” Joint Secretary at the Physical Planning Ministry Kamal Pande said.
