GOLD PRICE RECORDS ANOTHER HIGH SUNDAY

Kathmandu, 21 Aug.: Gold was traded Sunday for Rs. 52,400 per tola on the bullion market.
Price increased by Rs. 150 per told Sunday compared to Friday.
Traders said trading declined 75 percent with increased price.
Increased international price of the yellow metal has impacted the local market.

NEA CONSIDERING WITHDRAWING FREE ELECTRICITY FACILITY FOR EMPLOYEES

Kathmandu, 21 Aug. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is considering withdrawing free 75 unit monthly electricity facility for employees.
Energy Minister Gokarna Bista said this in the capital Sunday.
Bista’s personal initiative to recover dues to NEA from state agencies by directing effort on the street has been largely appreciated even as finance ministry said the problem of due collection was compounded by NEA.
The ministry said NEA didn’t initiate timely action to collect dues.
Bista said Sunday all vehicle facilities provided by the company to politicians of all hues had been withdrawn.
