Kathmandu, 21 Aug.: Bhajans were sung and classical music was played to remember former Krishna Prasad Bhattarai at his ashram in Badegaon in Lalitpur Saturday
Former Prime Minister died six month ago discarded by the party during the regime of Girija Prasad Koirala who took the NC on a republican path adamantly opposed by Bhattarai.
Kishunji, who pushed constitutional monarchy and multi-party democracy until his last breath, was embraced by the party after he died.
Bhattarai was the only founding member of the party alive when he died.
Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Academy organized Saturday’s function.

CHANGE OF VISA STATUS DISALLOWED IN KUWAIT
Kathmandu, 21 Aug.: Kuwait government won’t allow has persons with business or tourist visas from working, Kantipur quoted Nepali Ambassador Madhuban Paudel as saying.
Kuwait took the decision one week ago.
‘With the twin policies, Nepali workers’ security has been promoted,” Paudel said “Nepalis were stranded here after arriving on tourist or business visas,”
He asked Nepalis not to come on such visas.
