FURTHER DETAILS OF NC, MADESH FRONT AGREEMENT TO COOPERATE

Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: MJFN (Republican) Chairman Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta said Monday NC and five-party United Madeshbadi Loktantrik Front agreed to “defend democratic system and move ahead unitedly.”
The cooperation agreement came at a time when ‘democracy was facing serious challenges.” Gupta said after bilateral discussions
The main opposition and Front differ on a federal structure as NC Sunday opted for four provinces—two in terai .
‘The agreement has created a basis for national understanding,” NC Vice-chairman Ram Chandra Paudel said.
