PRACHANDA FLYING FOR MALAYSIA SUNDAY NIGHT

Kathmandu, 7 Aug.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda is flying for Malaysia Sunday night to attend a meeting of Asia Pacific Exchange and Co-operation Foundation, a Chinese INGO of which he’s vice-chairman, a radio report said quoting an unidentified Maoist source.
Foreign Department Chief Krishna Bahadur Mahara is accompanying for Maoist chief.
Prachanda will be away for two days.

NEPAL SETS PAPUA NEW GUINEA A 278 RUN TARGET IN ICC U-19 WORLD CUP 2012 QUALIFYING MATCH

Kathmandu, 7 Aug.: Nepal set Papua New Guinea a target of 278 runs in the six match ICC U-19 World Cup 2012 Qualifying match in Dublin, Ireland, Sunday.
Nepal scored 277 runs for six wickets in 50 overs batting first after winning the toss.
Nepal has already qualified for U-19 World Cup tournament being hosted by Australia and New Zealand, winning five matches and losing two.

PM KHANAL HAPPY WITH SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT OFSONIA GANDHI

Kathmandu, 7 Aug.: Prime Minister sent a message to Chief of Indian National Congress national and Chairperson of the ruling alliance in India Sonia Gandhi saying he was happy with her successful treatment in USA recently, Radio Nepal said in a Sunday evening news broadcast.
Khanal sent the message of the government, people of Nepal and on his own.
Very few details have been released officially about her treatment in USA.
