TWO MORE POLICE OPFFICRS SENTENDED AND FREED ON BAIL

Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: A special court Monday sentenced and slapped a Rs. 500,000 bail on suspended AIG Arjun Jung Shahi and Rs. 1,5 million on suspended SP Manoj Neupane in the Rs.280 million Sudan scam.
The two senior police officers presented themselves before the court to face the corruption charges leveled against them by CIAA.
Thirty of 34 police charged have presented themselves before the court.

NC AGAIN DISRUPTS HOUSE PROCEEDINGS
Kathmandu, 8 Aug.: Main opposition NC obstructed parliament proceedings for the eighth consecutive time Monday demanding immediate resignation of Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal who has said he’ll resign 13 August.
The house was adjourned by Speaker Subash Nemwang.
